Congratulations to Atena Solea for the successful defense of her PhD thesis in chemistry with the title: “Pinene-pyridine derivatives: synthesis, self-assembly and sensing applications” on 24^th of March 2021.

This PhD project is a fruitful collaboration between Prof. Dr. Katharina M. Fromm (Department of Chemistry, University of Fribourg), Prof. Dr. Olimpia Mamula Steiner and Prof. Dr. Christophe Allemann as thesis co-supervisors (Chemical Technology Institute of the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland HES-SO, College of Engineering and Architecture Fribourg).
