The iRAP institute supported the team of the Adolphe Merkle Institute for the development of an industrializable purification box.
In this objective, the initial concept of the cassette was completely rethought in order to facilitate the handling during the test but also to define a design which would allow an economic manufacturing in large series by injection process. The iRAP was able to bring its knowledge and expertise in the choice of the material and in the field of rheological simulations in order to validate the design. A test mold was made and several thousand functional purification cassettes were injected.
