Whether for professional development or as a form of personal enrichment, continuing education is integral to leading an active life.

The HEIA-FR offers the following continuing education programs, in some cases jointly with partner institutions:

CAS – HES-SO Certificate of Advanced Studies, 10-ECTS minimum
DAS – HES-SO Diploma of Advanced Studies, 30-ECTS minimum
MAS – HES-SO Master of Advanced Studies, 60-ECTS minimum
Advanced Federal Diploma
Non-certification courses awarding a participation certificate

1 ECTS credit (European Credit Transfer System) corresponds to a 25- to 30-hour workload for the participant.

Energie-FR

Commissioned by the Energy Department of the Canton of Fribourg to provide continuing education and outreach programs, the HEIA-FR proposes a variety of courses and organizes conferences in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Financial support is available for Fribourg residents.
