Love Data Week 2026
The Love Data Week is an annual event to celebrate research data and research data management. In reference to love, it is celebrated in the second week of February, for Valentine's Day.
In Switzerland, several higher education institutions have been participating in the Love Data Week since 2021. During the week they offer various workshops, talks and events focusing on research data management, mostly in digital form. The aim is to raise awareness, promote RDM tools and practices as well as guide researchers and other research support personnel

The library celebrates the Love Data Week — and invites you to play!
To celebrate this week dedicated to research data management, the library is organizing a fun and educational activity open to the entire HEIA-FR community.
Never touched research data management? No problem — we invite you to discover it… through play!
Mission GDR is a collaborative and educational serious game, designed for beginners.
👥 Alone, in pairs, or in teams (max. 4)
✅ Duration: 1h to 1h15
✅ Goal: save your research project by completing a roadmap… before time runs out!
🌐 Available in French, German, and English
📅 When? Every day during Love Data Week, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
