Inkjet Printing of Solar Cells on Flexible Substrates
Toyota Motor Europe is developing Inkjet printing of perovskite solar cells tech in collaboration with iPrint and EPFL.
Perovskite solar cells (PSC) are a type of emerging solar cells that can reach efficiencies close to those of silicon solar cells. PSC can be produced by a solvent based process. This project consists of inkjet‐printing PSC on flexible substrates. In the literature inkjet‐printed PSC are principally produced using small research printers. Here we use industrial printheads adapted to print on big surfaces.
