A video recap of the ‘O’Frais au Schönberg’ Living Lab

It was last July, at the height of summer, that residents of Schönberg, researchers from HEIA-Fribourg and staff from the REPER centre joined forces for the second year running to create an oasis of coolness in the neighbourhood centre.

The video presents the ‘O’Frais au Schönberg’ Living Lab and recounts the co-creation and co-construction initiative carried out with the residents of Schönberg.

This participatory initiative was a highlight of the SWEET SWICE – WP5 research project, led by the TRANSFORM Institute in partnership with the socio-cultural organisation REPER.

‘O’frais au Schönberg’ provided an opportunity to experiment with transforming a heat island in the centre of the neighbourhood into a welcoming, inclusive and resilient outdoor space, better suited to the intense summer heat.

The project team is delighted to share this experience with you in a video! Séréna Vanbutsele, Estela Schaffner and Agnès Collaud
